Well, one of my dreams has just been realized. I have always wanted to own my own plane. I have been blessed to be able to realize that dream. We call her "The Cream-sickle." It's a 1968 Mooney M20F Exec 21 aircraft. She might sound old but in reality she is pretty modern. She has leather interior, and auto-pilot, Garmin 430 GPS WAAS capable, slaved HSI, digital fuel gauges, storm scope gauge, and can do 165 knots (190 mph) and 9 gph fuel burn. Now, I know to those people that aren't a total plane nerd like me those things make zero sense but let me tell you that those things are pretty cool and make her one in a million. I seriously have never been so excited in my life. This is going to be a great learning experience for me. Because it is one thing to know how to fly one and another thing to know how to own one.

Boo!
This past saturday Emma planned a pumpkin party. We invited a bunch of our closest friends and everyone was asked to bring a pumpkin to carve. It was a lot of fun, and Emma made a bunch of her famous doughnuts. After everyone was done carving their pumpkins we turned out the lights and watch "Darkness Falls." It's a scary movie that had us all on the ends of our seats. I really had a lot of fun carving my pumpkin. I'm no artist but I still had a blast!

Can You Believe This
So, a week ago one of my friends, Nate, and I went fishing out at second dam on the Logan River. It was going great and we were having a lot of fun. My dad and I are big time Bass fishermen but there was only trout at the dam so I relied on my buddy to tell me what to use for bait. To my surprise the only thing we used was raw hamburger. They love it and we caught a couple of fish each. During the fishing the sun was retreating behind the mountains so I had placed my sun glasses on top of the tackle box out of the way from traffic of other people that were there too. Then this kid came up with his mother and he stepped on the tackle box to look over the side to see the fish. The thing is while stepping of the tackle box he also stepped on my sun glasses. His mom watched all of this and didn't stop him. He bended my frame, scratched one of the lenses. They just kept walking. I picked up my glasses and shouted, "Are you kidding me." Shed turned around and just said, "Oh, sorry." I couldn't believe it. She didn't even offer to pay for the damages, she didn't do anything. She just continued to walk away. I couldn't believe it. But what can you do? It's sad that there are people in this world that have no sense of responsibility.

The Worst Morning Ever
I went up to campus to take care of a couple of things before I heading down to the airport to take care of a few others. I was parked at the football stadium and when I returned to my truck to head to the airport this is what I came back to. When I first was walking up to it I just thought that is was a reflection of something but my fears were confirmed as soon as I was close enough to touch it. There is a nice dent in the door with some paint and a bit of plastic that came off the side mirror. I went to get a quote for our insurance and the mirror alone costs over three hundred dollars! I wanted to punch someone! What can you do? Nothing but call the insurance and hope they don't raise your monthly payment. It just sucks that I had nothing to do with this and my insurance is going to be the one to pay for it...hopefully.

I Was Hungry
Ok sorry for not posting in like forty trillion years but I've been so busy! Ok I was being lazy but any ways... I was a little zealous with my lunch the other weekend. I tried to tell Emma I was playing a game...you know...like 52 card pick up except with shells and there was way more than 52 of them but she didn't believe me. Everything turned out just fine and my tummy was quite satisfied when everything was all done. And yes I still used the ones that fell on the ground. They were put into boiling water so I thought it was fine plus I can grantee that I've eaten way worse when I was in Brazil and I came home just fine!
